Most of you know me for filming at the WP Downhill races but this event I decided to give it a bash with some stills; thanks to Ewald Sadie, Mr. ESP, for lending me a flash and acting like the super cool pro that he is.
With a new course for this year’s Urban assault, the slopes of signal hill down into the Bo-Kaap had the riders’ work cut out for them and many a tyre did not make it to the bottom inflated. It was good to see the big names back in the country and taking top honors at this year’s Urban Assault event.
I think the biggest treat was for the Bo-Kaap locals who had a spiced up Sunday afternoon with DH riders cruising past their balconies and terraces; bringing the entire neighborhood onto the streets and proving to be one of the most supported events so far this season.
With the level of riding constantly on the rise I am really looking forward to the WP champs at Tokai on the 24th of November this year.

sometimes, even cell phone cameras can take a half decent image, usually its the composition that counts
